Swords and Spindles Down South

It was all going so well. The carrier arrived bright and early and Master Christopher had a wonderous sword with which to defend himself against the Parliamentarians of Plymouth. Sadly he lacked a suitable way of attaching the scabbard to his person. Unarmed, he and Mistress Agnes ventured forth to regale the attendees at Plymouth Local Studies Day.

Plymouth Local Studies Day May 2015 Mayhap they knowest not what to expect. Verily they did seem most entertained and Mistress Agnes was welcomed right royally. We would like to thank Mistress Janet our willing victim volunteer who is now garbed in a fashion that will attract any passing soldier. Master Christopher managed to escape unharmed and we didst live to fight another day. Look out for us in Weston-Super-Mare; we might be glimpsed at the South West Area Group Family History Fair on May 16th.
