As many do know, Mistress Agnes doth try to treat the good folk of her village with herbal remedies of various kinds. She claims that her ‘cures’ are somewhat gentler than those of Master Christopher and there we do have to agree. She has been spending time tidying up her herb garden. You can see that she even hath jolly labels that do gives the names of the herbs – shame she can’t read them. So be it headache or noxious wind of the belly, she is fully prepared. She is also guarding against witches with the bay and preventing the plague with rue, handy for those who have been bitten by the pesky body lice too. She thinks Mistress Mary will be most envious.
Mistress Agnes and Mistress Mary are available to talk to folk of all ages about their herbs and and the herbal lore of their time.
